Due to growth, we are looking to bring on a talented PHP WordPress Developer to work remotely for us. What You Will Be Doing Responsibility will be to build functional, scalable and maintainable code that meets the business goals. You will work closely with our User Experience and front-end development teams to build full stack applications. This is an opportunity for a strong mid-level developer to come in and excel. We're looking for a talented person who knows how to balance a passion for logic, mastery of code and strong problem solving to join this growing team.
What You Need for this Position 3+ years of experience in the following:
- PHP 7
- JavaScript (ECMAScript 5/6)
- WooCommerce or Shopify
- WordPress/Laravel/Drupal
- HTML5 & CSS3
- Apache or Nginx - common web servers
- Git - branching workflow/rebasing/merging/CLI
- Linux - remote machines on the command line
- Client-facing: design and develop systems
- Relational databases such as MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL
Bonus points for:
- REST APIs
- Web application security/pen testing/network security
- Celigo or Netsuite
- Perl, Bash, and shell scripting
- Windows Server and .NET
- JavaScript frameworks such as React / Vue.js / Angular or Node.js
