Position Highlights: #########Support the Accounting department for Accounts Payable related matters. Maintains and ensures that all invoices (primarily purchase order based or refund based) are keyed into the Lawson and document imaging system and those vendors are paid in accordance with terms. Communicates with internal and external customers in a proactive customer-friendly manner. Responsibilities also include: vendor account reconciliation, phone calls, identification of accruals for month-end processing and participation in resolution of three-way matching exceptions.# # # The Ideal Candidate will have ## Experience using integrated accounts payable financial systems (including three-way system matching). Experience using document imaging application/system. Familiarity with accounting terms as well as comprehension of accounts payable processes. # Responsibilities: # Communication. Inputs all vendor invoices into the Lawson and/or scanning systems upon receipt of invoices. Rework and maintain exceptions and obtain signatures as required. Researches any aged items on statements. Reengineering/Streamlining/Other # Credentials and Qualifications: ######High School Diploma/GED required. ######A minimum of two (2) years accounts payable experience required.
