Collection Manager

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT : Active Top Secret Level Clearance with SCI Access; Clearance, Access, and Investigation must appear in DISS and be within scope (6 – Years)
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as a SOCCENT J2 Collection Manager for the USCENTCOM area of operations.
• Apply advanced intelligence planning concepts, principles, practices, laws, regulations, methods, and techniques when developing multi-discipline collection strategies.
• Appy advanced collection management tradecraft principles and approaches to satisfy unique intelligence information requirements of the SOCCENT command, staff, and enterprise.
• Support the development of collection strategies that leverage the strengths of multiple intelligence disciplines to fulfill intelligence requests, planning efforts and to address gaps in the existing strategies.
• Review and adjust developed collection strategies based on reporting, collection access and requestors revised information needs.
• Provide collection strategy development expertise through the process of synthesis, analysis, and interrelating of meaningful data.
• Brief senior officials on complex issues of collection capabilities/data to service within area of responsibilities.
• Research, develop, and submit collection requirements at the operational level and for subordinate units.
• Maintain liaison activities and staff coordination with counterparts at CENTCOM and national intelligence organizations.
• Prepare briefs, information papers, and presentations as required utilizing Microsoft Office family of products (i.e. Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access)
• Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Social Science International Relations, Homeland Security, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology.
• Four (4) years of experience in a wide range of intelligence research, collection methods and techniques, and the use of multi-source intelligence information systems.
• USCENTCOM area of responsibility experience within the past five (5) years.
• Foundational qualifications and training obtained at U.S. military or IC Intelligence courses.
• Knowledge of IC CM systems, mission applications and communications capabilities.
• Proficient in Intelligence automation, applications, tools, and databases.
• Strong background and firsthand experience in CM and/or intelligence reporting to include doctrine, policy, procedures, oversight. Background in tactical, theater, and national-level coordination.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills and highly proficient in all-source analytical support tools.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools; brief materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Work independently with minimal oversight; provide thorough and completed products
• Valid US Passport; remain flexible and anticipate occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel.
