Foreign Disclosure Representative

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT : Active Top Secret Level Clearance with SCI Access; Clearance, Access and Investigation must appear in DISS and be within scope (6 – Years)
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as a SOCCENT Foreign Disclosure Representative.
• Provide foreign disclosure guidance to the SOCCENT Commander and staff in support of daily intelligence exchange, information sharing, or foreign engagements occurring within the SOCCENT HQ and enterprise to include the revision or construction of relevant policy and orders.
• Make foreign disclosure decisions with regards to the disclosure/release of SOCCENT-owned Classified Military Information (CMI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
• Assist SOCCENT directorates and functional staff elements in the disclosure/release process by providing guidance in coordinating with other organizations to review and determine for potential disclosure/release by Originating Classifying Authorities.
• Provide requisite expertise and assistance for preparing and presenting educational briefings on multiple topics regarding foreign disclosure procedures and processes.
• Assist in maintaining Foreign Disclosure Representative program management and manning requirements to include supporting other Foreign Disclosure Officers/Representatives in the proper implementation of foreign disclosure policy.
• Maintain records archive of disclosure requests and decisions, and respond to requests for data; recommend to the Government disclosure or release of information after conducting technical and substitutive reviews of information.
• Prepare briefs, information papers, and presentations as required utilizing Microsoft Office family of products (i.e. Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access).
• Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
• Associates Degree.
• Five (5) years of experience with National Disclosure Policy, DoD foreign disclosure, COCOM/Component-level foreign disclosure policy and guidance, or other applicable directives/instructions.
• USCENTCOM area of responsibility experience within the past five (5) years.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools; brief materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Work independently with minimal oversight
• Valid US Passport; remain flexible and anticipate occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel.
