Full Job Description Serves as initial contact for all callers and visitors to Animal Hospital at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. This position is the first impression a current or potential client sees or hears.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide superb customer service
• Must be well-organized and able to multi-task,
• Provide a liaison between client, vet technicians and veterinarians.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times
• Being attentive to client and pet needs
• Identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states
• Work patiently with distressed, frustrated or disgruntled clients
• Answer phone calls from clients in a timely and friendly manner
• Schedule appointments and schedule procedures
• Check-in clients
• Monitor client flow from check-in to discharge
• Monitor schedule and flow
• Client call backs
• Manage record requests between other hospitals and specialty practices
• Other duties assigned by management.
• Hourly Rate $12.00
• Schedule includes working weekends.
• Experience as a Veterinary Receptionist preferred.
