We are currently Recruiting for a SharePoint Administrator for a contract to perm opportunity.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Serve as a SharePoint Online 365 platform owner, including design and builds of sites, webparts, and other components from an initial re-design project outcome, and expand upon the initial plan as needed to meet management and end user needs and expectations
• Develop detailed documentation on site architecture, permissions, naming conventions, metadata and information management tags, and review processes
• Ensure clear and prompt communications of pending and known changes that impact end users to app
• May need to periodically adjust work schedule to visit with operations staff during their working hours
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years with SharePoint as a site owner and/or administrator with experience in supporting end users through computer (PC/laptop) and mobile (phone/tablet) platforms
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
• An understanding of Azure and OneDrive architecture
• Understand key SharePoint features such as permissions management, web parts, list and library configurations, and site collection hierarchy.
• Be an internal expert on SharePoints features and capabilities, as well as stay abreast of new/upcoming features and industry/technology trends
• Preferred to have some exposure and understanding of the Power platform
• Ability to utilize critical thinking skills and make sound decisions in a timely manner
• Ability to prioritize competing requests, while completing ongoing work
• Verbal and written communications skills, with demonstrated ability to create clear, concise written documentation and to proofread own and others work
• Analytical, multitasking, organization, problem solving and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to learn new concepts and technical functions
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively with all levels of the organization
