Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
This position will provide quotation support, through evaluation of technical feasibility and option costing, for non-standard configurations of PIUS-PO products. This position is also acts as a critical control point for new product orders at PIUS-PO, performing technical evaluation for orders from internal customers (MOs) that the business unit supports.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will need the following:
• Strong technical product knowledge across Checkweighing, Metal Detection, X-Ray and Vision technologies would be a plus.
• Good knowledge of Engineering, Fabrication, and Assembly processes preferred.
• Strong package dynamics and product handling knowledge preferred.
• Strong knowledge of upstream and downstream packaging equipment preferred.
• Good task and project management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to provide informative and professional assistance when working with internal customers and co-workers, including maintaining positive interpersonal relationships which encourages openness.
Minimum Education / Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or related field preferred; high-school diploma required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical discipline required.
• SAP experience a plus.
