Job Duties:
Develop, deploy and upgrade Network Cloud infrastructure and support day to day operations using AIC, virtual network functions, Kubernetes and OpenStack components; Migrate tenants from ATT Integrated Cloud (AIC) to Network Cloud and support end to end testing in the certification process of Virtual Network Functions; Onboard new tenants supporting 5G, FirstNet and VOIP onto Network Cloud Infrastructure; Use Kubernetes, Docker, Calico, Containerd to maintain and troubleshoot applications on Network Cloud infrastructure; Troubleshoot issues on OpenStack components Nova, Keystone, Glance, Cinder, Heat, Neutron, MySQL, and RabbitMQ deployed on Kubernetes; Develop and modify deployment templates, ConfigMaps to deploy applications on Kubernetes; Troubleshoot issues on software storage platform Ceph, monitor alerts on cluster and take preventive actions to maintain Ceph in healthy state; Use Tap as a Service for setting up port mirroring and troubleshoot SRIOV network issues; Use Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana stack to store, visualize, and audit logs for troubleshooting; Develop scripts using python and bash for proactive monitoring of infrastructure; Ensure servers are configured as per security compliance requirements; Fix defects and issues encountered during Cloud migrations and code upgrades; Develop backup and disaster recovery procedures of cloud infrastructure and critical data; Develop and automate test cases for the new features introduced in the cloud as part of upgrades; and Perform root cause analysis for outages and develop break fixes for preventing outages.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and two years’ experience in position or two years’ experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with network cloud infrastructure, AIC, virtual network functions, Kubernetes and OpenStack components. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
