SUMMARY
Support the Sensor Systems Engineering Group in software implementation. This position carries out work assignments. Uses engineering methods and techniques in solving problems. Assists more senior engineers in carrying out technical tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Working under close supervision is for code, test, and documentation of sensor system software designs, requiring the application of current industry design concepts and utilization of  technical writing skills. The learning process in this position is expected to take a minimum of one (1) year. Particular emphasis will be placed on schedule, performance, budget, and other skills not attained in college. Assignments will be geared towards learning programming techniques for flight simulation applications.
• Interpersonal skills are in this position as interfacing with fellow group members and other engineering group members is to the learning process. The person in this position will be expected to report work status to the Group Leader as requested.
• Ability to perform as part of the project "team".
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
• Minimum of four-year degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics; or practical experience in technical field.
• Must possess at least 2 years' experience in the simulation or related industry.
• Technical areas of must include current software development methodologies and tools.
• Must possess programming experience with C/C++.
• Related skill areas should include technical writing and presentation skills.
• Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Security Clearance.
• Secret security clearance is a plus.
• Knowledge of Radar and/or EOIR systems is a plus.
SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES
Compliance with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures. Classification and marking of all information and materials,  produced by the incumbent. Shall be assigned or Information Security by  supervisor or department management. Access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. information outside company without management approval. Incumbent shall execute company non-disclosure agreement prior to access to any controlled information.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or government specifications. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply principles of logical or thinking to a of intellectual and practical problems.
Mathematical Skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to travel  worldwide.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Duties performed in an office environment and manufacturing facility.
