High Level Statement of the Role
The Application Developer is responsible for developing custom systems or enhancing existing third-party systems to meet the needs of the organization.
High Level Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop IT applications
• Purchase IT applications
• Manage IT applications (local and corporate)
• Ensure local applications meet and conform to corporate application guidelines
• Create and maintain application documentation
• Work directly with local users and teams on application ideas, creation and implementation
• Work with corporate teams on corporate application initiatives
• Provide application training for users and IT staff
• Manage IT infrastructure that supports applications
• Coordinate application and system modifications
• Research and evaluate new applications and systems
• Present recommendations for new applications and modifications of existing systems to management
• Collaborate and share applications with other corporate locations
• Additional duties as assigned

• Microsoft SQL Server intermediate skills including SSIS, database/table design and creation
• Microsoft IIS website configuration
• Aegis MES system concepts
• System troubleshooting
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Experience with training end users on systems in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to explain systems issues in a non-technical manner to users
