Experience:
• Previous Telecom/Helpdesk wanting to break into an Operations role with an understanding of how a Network Operations role works.
• Understand different types of modems, ISP circuit types, broadband, DIA, etc.
• Basic knowledge of POTS, PRIs, and SIP circuits.
• Experience with ITSM Ticketing System.
• Ability to document procedures, fixes, and communicate to the rest of the team.
• Cisco
• Firewall Concepts (FortiNet, SonicWall, Etc.)
• Routing & Switching
• MPLS, Broadband, Wireless
Skills/Knowledge:
• Knowledge with Network Operating Systems, Hardware, and Software troubleshooting skills.  TCP/IP fundamentals including routing, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, subneting, network sniffing, WINS, DNS, and DHCP. Proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel, Access, etc)
