Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Market Delivery AGM has multi-unit responsibility for leading a group of Market Delivery Operation (MDO) Managers/Supervisors to meet all performance standards of the distribution center operation and all delivery service goals. Responsible for coordinating market efforts ensure transportation resources are optimized to drive out cost and maximize overall delivery network efficiency. The Market Delivery AGM will need to ensure that all MDOs within the market have a positive associate environment with high standards of performance in order to meet customer needs.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
35%- Monitor market MDO building level scorecards, financials, and safety metrics and identify recommendations for improvement or address any potential issues.
15%- Responsible for direct customer contact and support. Oversee escalated exception handling for deliveries, which may include interfacing with customers or Home Depot department to resolve any identified issues
15%- Responsible to maintain and leverage vendor relationships within the given market ? to include close partnership on inventory, inbound transportation, promotions & forecast, and service level agreement deliverables.
35%- Market level management of all inbound and outbound loads (either directly with THD drivers or indirectly through 3PL on-site delivery or transportation delivery agent) to ensure performance meets expectations.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to MDC General Manager.
This role has 4-8 direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes which cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Additional Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to be on-call at various times. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years
Physical Requirements:
Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Bachelors Degree concentrating in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software applications
Previous change management experience
Multiple site responsibility within geographical region
Experience in last-mile delivery
Direct fulfillment experience
Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service
