Forklift Operator will work within a team to operate equipment to fill, label and package materials produced in the plant. Hours are expected to be 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM M-F, but may vary given business demands.
Skills :
• Operate a Forklift moving raw materials around the plant and loading onto pallets and loading and unloading onto trucks for shipping.
• Stacking finished goods onto pallets, wrapping and loading finished pallets onto trailers and moving.
• Must be able to work sitting or standing throughout the shift and work safely in an industrial plant environment using machinery and chemicals.
• Able to work in a fast paced production environment
• Prior loading/unloading experience in a high-volume facility.
• Comfortable operating a Forklift in tight spaces.
• Knowledge of Safety and Environmental regulatory requirements associated with manufacturing.
Requirements :

Forklift Certification required.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to read and understand policies and training materials.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable, and change priorities and direction as needed.
• Must have a positive attitude towards work and have the ability to work well as a member of a team.
• After receiving training, employee must be able to show understanding and competency on safety rules and regulations by written or verbal examination.
• Ability to understand and follow posted signage throughout the facility.
• Must be familiar with the standard operating procedure and operator manual for the safe operation of the equipment.
• Experience in a factory asphalt environment a plus.
• Must have full range of motion to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop or kneel.
• Safely lift up to 70 Lbs.
• Must be able to work in a plant environment with varying levels of temperature and physical requirements.
