Porsche Iceland is looking for an ambitious car mechanic to work on repairs and service at Porsche's service workshop. We are looking for a person with a comfortable attitude, competitive spirit and the ability to work in a team. This is a 100% position. We are looking for someone willing to work in Iceland for a minimum of 1 year but hopefully longer.
This is a unique opportunity to work in Iceland, known throughout for its amazing nature, clean and healthy environment and great people.
Main tasks and responsibilities
• Perform work as outlined on repair order.
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Inspect the vehicle to determine if additional work is required.
• Notify service advisor if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
• Document work performed.
• Road-test vehicles when required.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
Qualifications
Educational and qualification requirements
• Experience in car repairs
• Mechanic/technical education
• Bronze level ZPT qualification
• High Voltage Technician qualification preferred
• Very good computer skills
• Good English skills
• Independent and precise working habits
• Ambition and will to succeed
