Full Job Description General Description
Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. This is a responsible non-exempt position with the primary emphasis of managing incoming requests from staff, volunteers, service providers and grantor organizations and resolving entry-level issues and concerns. In addition, tracking of agency assets, software licensing, and supplies will be required. Overall responsibilities are supervised by the Director of MIS.
Responsibilities
• Installs and configures desktops and laptops (cloning and deployment)
• Performs Google Workspace account functions and supports user questions/issues
• Supports the phone system and its users
• Adds and removes users and assigns roles in eCIRTS
• Orders, maintains, and tracks computer supplies
• Supports Intranet sites (new staff posts, MIS FAQ posts and updates, etc.)
• Maintains inventory of SCC assets
• Maintains a new user checklist and assigns accounts for various systems
• Supports the Zoom video conferencing system and its users
• Manages cell phone users and adds/removes accounts as needed
• Attends training and seminar sessions appropriate to job requirements
• Supports the MIS unit on other system tasks and projects as requested
Minimum Education and Experience
• Minimum education and related experience:
• Associate’s Degree and one (1) year of experience; or
• High School Graduate or Equivalent and two (2) years of experience
• Successful completion of applicable background screening required.
• Any exceptions to the minimum requirements must be approved by the President and CEO.
Required Skills and Knowledge
• Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite in support of end user troubleshooting and requests
• Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
• Knowledge of Windows networking and SQL is a plus
• Knowledge of Google Workspace on a user level is a plus
• Experience with user helpdesk support is a plus
