About the Position:
Retail Support Specialist is responsible for retail and marketing program execution – the Specialist partners with operational teams to provide marketing, sales and base-business growth support for all retail programs across assigned accounts. This position is responsible for communicating the scalable, repeatable business model that is utilized throughout the business with a focus on growing base business across the Aramark Correctional Services (ACS) portfolio. A successful Specialist will have the ability to foster strong partnerships with the Regional Operational Teams, District Managers and Client Family.
He/she will work with Marketing channel leads to leverage business-wide processes, capabilities and relationships to accelerate efficient performance across all corrections locations.
This role provides support to assigned accounts in the implementation and improvement of programs, standards, and processes to ensure consistency of Aramark’s retail operating processes from one facility to the next.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of region and district retail growth targets, including revenue and participation goals.
• Drive and track base business growth initiatives through a defined retail-marketing executional framework.
• Guide retail pricing strategies across assigned retail portfolio.
• Scale retail and marketing processes for a repeatable retail business model.
• Drive consumer participation in retail programs including Commissary, iCare and FreshFavorites (proprietary Aramark programs) across assigned accounts.
• Working with cross-functional teams on operational improvement initiatives.
• Project management duties for assigned projects.
• RFP sales support (to include menu design & COGS development) for retail pursuits.
• Design & develop initiatives & action plans to improve financial & KPI targets
• Partner with the Region, DM and operational team to execute priority business imperatives
• Use operational expertise to implement new and existing retail systems and technologies.
• Utilize technical expertise to evaluate retail program standards, measure performance and recommend solutions in order to enhance or improve operations.
• Assist in the implementation and facilitation of programmatic training programs for Retail Front Line managers and employees.
Employment with Aramark Correctional Services is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of all required pre-employment screening checks.  Once an offer of employment is made, applicants will be required to undergo various pre-employment screening checks including, but not limited to, criminal background checks.    Criminal background check results are reviewed and analyzed in accordance with applicable law and all appropriate factors are considered, including the nature and gravity of the offense(s), the amount of time that has passed since the commission of the offense(s), the relationship between the offense(s) and the job being sought, operating contract requirements and factors required by state law.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:
• A bachelor’s degree.
• 1-4 years operations management experience, preferably in a corrections retail operations environment.
• Position requires ~70% travel to various locations across the country.
• Demonstrated ability to focus & manage multiple priorities.
• Very strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills combined with a commitment and proven ability to succeed within a fast paced organization.
• Ability to influence without formal authority.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications is required.
