The Position Join OPSWAT as a Director of Software Engineering as part of the Secure Access product team contributing to the success of new initiatives in OPSWAT’s secure access software solutions.  In this position, reporting to the CTO of Secure Access, you will own the teams responsible for developing new products that enhance the overall MetaAccess solution.  This position is aimed at an individual with demonstrated success building and leading teams delivering software solutions in the security space.
What You Will Be Doing
• Partner with Product Management team
• Provide input on product roadmaps
• Review PRDs and provide feedback and guidance
• Decide the feasibility of new features/capabilities
• Review and improve existing engineering processes
• Drive innovation and steer the product technology
• Mentor, coach and provide career path opportunities
• Partner with Sales, as required
• Partner with Customer Success to support the customers
What We Need from You
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related major
• Experience leading remote software development teams
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Passion for building leading technology
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience implementing software engineering best practices
It Would Be Nice If You Had
• Prior experience in software products/services for the security space
• Experience developing cross-platform software products
• Experience developing cloud delivered services or products
• Experience developing enterprise applications
• Experience implementing SDLC with a focus on secure coding and design
