Full Job Description Responsibilities
As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will assist the Shipping Department Supervisor:
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
• Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times
• Inventory control
• Back-up truck delivery driver (MUST HAVE ACCEPTABLE DRIVING RECORD)
• This list is not inclusive of all responsibilities
Qualifications
A background in Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving operations with logistics and inventory is preferred. A successful Shipping and Receiving Associate will possess the following:
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
• General computer skills for basic data entry
• Forklift Operator experience required
• Clean driving record
• Experience with UPS, FedEX, DHL and USPS
• Computer program knowledge (PLEX is a plus)
