Our team focuses on establishing that privacy, ethics, and accessibility requirements are included from the outset of development of products and accelerators. You'll focus on developing the policies, standards, and guidelines to provide direction to developers to assist them in developing products that align with PwC standards in privacy, ethics, and accessibility. You will also work with the developers in helping them understand the requirements.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
• Leveraging creative thinking, problem solving and individual initiative;
• Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats;
• Collaborating with clients and building relationships with clients; and,
• Demonstrating technical and operational third party risk industry practices, regulations or standards to build programs and/or manage controls, risk assessments and business processes.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success with developing and implementing privacy and risk strategies/solutions for a global network of professional services firms, including the following areas:
• Providing and leveraging technical and operational privacy and/or standard industry practices to assist clients with assessing their posture and improving their programs in the following areas - privacy, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies, such as Cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), et al.;
• Understanding and applying technical and operational standard industry practices involving privacy regulations/standards to build programs and/or manage internal controls, risk assessments, business processes, or operational auditing - GDPR, HIPAA / HITECH, EU GDPR and Privacy Shield, COPPA, State Breach Disclosure Laws, GLBA, et al.;
• Understanding the common privacy-related issues clients face in several industry sectors, including Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Media, Entertainment, and Energy; and,
• Demonstrating an understanding of privacy, client confidentiality and data retention laws and regulations, and a broad understanding of ethics and compliance programs.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
• Supporting the design, implementation and management of processes to measure the execution of and compliance with policies and procedures;
• Supporting the provision of feedback, findings and escalation of monitoring results, including remediation efforts;
• Coordinating ad hoc and periodic reporting and development of team metrics;
• Acting as a resource for partners and staff on a range of questions and issues regarding information protection, privacy, client confidentiality, document/data retention, records management and social media;
• Assisting in research and information gathering to support the development of policies, procedures or supplemental guidance; and,
• Supporting the development of educational materials and communications related to Information Protection.
