ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
BUSINESS:  Leslie Controls A&D - Tampa
LOCATION:  Tampa, FL
DIRECT REPORTING: R&O Manager
FUNCTIONAL REPORTING: Operations
POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
Performs a variety of duties providing field service to our customers with extensive travel.  Visits customer sites, inspects equipment and recommend spares, spare parts, new applications and service.  Work involves highly complex custom engineered products.
Principal Activities
• Perform installation, startup, repair and servicing a wide variety of Company products
• Check, analyze and help resolve the correction of field complaints within established limits and advise Service Center Manager on disposition.
• Cooperate with the customer personnel in checking and servicing of Company equipment
• Provide guidance and instructions or individually make the repairs necessary to correct the operational problems.
• Provide accurate estimates of labor and materials to repair product so quote can be generated.
• All other duties and tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• 2 – 4 years of experience
• Mechanical minded
• Intermediate knowledge of various hand tools
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform multi-faceted projects in rapidly changing environment
• Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and strategic skills
• Must be able to travel on short notice.
Education
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense issued Confidential Security Clearance or possessed a Security Clearance within the past 24 months.
