Full Job Description The Manager, Software Engineering codes software applications based on business requirements. The Manager, Software Engineering works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.
Responsibilities
The Manager, Software Engineering standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5 or more years of technical experience
• 2 or more years of leadership experience
• Experience implementing technologies with enterprise-wide impact
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree
