**Description** The Informatics Lead coordinates with other analytics, IT and business areas across the organization to ensure work is completed with insights from knowledge SMEs. The Informatics Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. **Responsibilities** The Informatics Lead leverages its advanced knowledge of data, modeling, optimization, and tools. Applies disciplined analytics to predict behavior and optimize programs and products to maximize revenue growth. Utilizes advanced or predictive modeling to develop, test and validate cases that improve the outcomes and quality of the programs we offer. Contributes to more innovative approaches to financial models as it builds knowledge of the business context in which it operates. Understands and analyzes complex data, articulates to various units within the company at the appropriate level, impacts the business from mathematical concepts which have a potentially sizeable dollar impact on the business. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. **As the Informatics Lead, you will:** + Work directly with aligned business partners in requirements definition, project scoping, timeline management, results documentation, and maintain effective and professional working relationship + Develop statistical approaches and machine learning models using the available technologies in Humana's data ecosystem for business needs + Lead power platform development (Power Apps & Power Automate) + Create ETL process to prepare data for advanced analytics, modeling, and visualization + Deliver Senior Management Metrics with superb accuracy and precision [Critical Systems Availability, Service Level Metrics, etc] + Communicate analytical results, findings and actionable recommendations efficiently to audience with diverse backgrounds. (Broad spectrum vertically and laterally) **Required Qualifications** + Polished communicator, with a proven ability to translate complex methodologies and analytical results to higher-level business insights and key takeaways + Master's degree (or Bachelor's degree + 3 years relevant work experience) in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, economics or computer science. + Experience manipulating and analyzing various types of data using Python, R, SQL, SAS, or similar programming languages (Advanced SQL Experience REQUIRED) + Experience designing, configuring, and deploying SSIS packages (ETL & APIS) + Power Platform Experience - (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) + 2 or more years of leadership experience + Strategic thinking and planning capabilities + Organized and detail-oriented + Experience in defining and executing measurement programs + Experience with advanced analytics, including program evaluation and optimization + Excellent verbal and written communication **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience creating/leveraging machine learning platform to build and deploy predictive models(Gradient Boost, Ada Boost, etc) + Process Engineering Experience & Certification (Six Sigma - Black Belt) + Advanced experience with SAS, R, and/or Python + IT Operations experience **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 <>
