This role within the Research and Development Informatics (RDI) group will play a key role in the development of solutions for the Regulatory Information Management (RIM) group within Regulatory Affairs. As a Sr. Associate IS Engineer , you will define requirements, facilitate design, configure applications, and support solution deployment working with business partners and IS peers.
• Actively engage with business users to analyze business needs, capture and detail business and solution requirements guided by standard methodologies in Veeva Vault
• Utilize domain knowledge to architect solutions in our Veeva Vault RIM environment
• Provide technical leadership and improve solutions approach via hands-on configuration in Veeva Vault RIM, development within the Vault Java SDK, and expert-level knowledge of the Vault API
• Work with core enterprise platforms like enterprise data lake and Mulesoft
• Be responsible for the successful implementation of the solutions
• Support selection of new technologies as needed, and development of technology roadmap for the domain architecture
Basic qualifications: Doctorate Degree

Master's Degree
OR
Bachelor's Degree & 3 years of Information Systems experience
OR
Associate's degree & 5 years of Information Systems experience
• You have experience with implementing and supporting COTS (configurable off the shelf) applications
• You have experience as a Java developer / engineer
• You are used to working with internal business clients in a business analyst or technical engineer capacity to understand their business requirements, handle scope of work/expectations and suggest IS solutions
• You have shown excellent written, presentation, and verbal interpersonal skills, including demonstrable experience communicating technology recommendations from a business perspective
Preferred Qualifications: • You are able to navigate, facilitate and work within a complex matrix organization
• You have experience with implementing applications in the life sciences industry
• You are passionate about hands-on work and bring expertise in configuration with Veeva Vault
• You have working knowledge of Agile project methodologies and working in product teams
• Experience with AWS cloud and/or a AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Knowledge of DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and Agile product development
