Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Location: Temple Terrace, FL (Initially Remote)
Role: Data Engineer
Primary Skills: Data Analytics and Analysis
Role Description: The Data Engineer must have at least 10+ years of experience.Â
Job Duties:
- Architecture and Design of data analytics solutions.
- Coding, testing, deploying the data analytics solutions to production.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause resolution of production issues.
- Work with Business and IT teams to drive requirements analysis, translation to system requirements, and design of software solution.
- Publish documentation at all stages of the solution delivery.
Must Have Skills (Most Important):
- Industry experience in Data Analytics and Analysis using these following technologies and skills:
- (1) One or more Databases - Oracle, Postgres, Oracle Spatial. (More than 5 years of experience)
- (2) Programming Languages: Python, SQL, Java. (More than 5 years of experience)
- (3) Analytics frameworks: Looker, ThoughtSpot, Tableau (More than 2 years of experience)
- (4) Cloud Technologies: GCP, BQ, Apache tools. (More than 2 years of experience)
- (5) AI/ML and predictive analysis models. (More than 2 years of experience)
- Experience in back-end server programming, web services, micro services to integrate with UI and databases.
Desired Skills:
- Proven experience working in large scale programs.
- Hands on coding, testing and delivering database analytics projects.
- Proven track record of working on Architecture and Design of large data analytics projects.
- Good communication skills.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related areas required; Master’s degree preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 10+ years
