Senior Techno-Functional ETL / Big Data Lead who thrives on critical, fast paced initiatives with primary responsibility to design and develop technology platforms utilizing the corporate-wide standards for centralized data services and common technology frameworks.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a Leader for a small team of developers and consultants in multiple locations across the globe and directly assign the tasks related to development & implementation of critical modules like Global Consolidations: Eliminations, Equitization; Management & Financial Reporting Needs:  Balance Sheet , P&L, Trail balances, Historical restatements, Financial Calculation Engines and Data Access controls.
• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
• Overall 8+ years of IT expertise with in depth technical application development, implementations in finance domain concentration.
• Must have 8 plus years of Ab Initio ETL and Data Management solutions including ability to understand the internal working of variety of Ab Initio components.
• Must have experience with performance tuning techniques in Ab Initio.
• Must have practical experience with number of techniques involved in ETL and Data integration space including ability to Design highly efficient end-to-end large scale ETL & BigData solutions.
• Must have experience in data management functions including data governance, data design, master data management, metadata management, and data quality management.
• Must have experience with Oracle databas e and expert skills in Unix scripting
• Must have prior experience in Design and Development of BigData platforms , PySpark environments
• Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications and experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate for  production sustainability
• Provide support and co-ordinate with broader team (outside Ab Initio) for project activities
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience and Subject Matter Expertise
