Material Handler
Available Work Shifts:
1900-2230* (T, W, TH, F, SUN)
0200-0630* (T, W, TH, F, SAT, SUN [SUNDAY operation until 0830])
* shift times may vary due to operational needs
Duties and Responsibilities
* Must have strong work ethic and be able to perform physical labor over several hours, including the repetitive lifting of items up to 70 lbs
* Load/offload packages, mail bags and mail totes into/from floor-level airline containers and rolling equipment
* Pull rolling equipment (full and empty) across warehouse floor
* Requires standing, bending, and occasional step aid use
* Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
Qualifications
* Must pass background check and drug screen
* Ability to receive clearance from the United States Postal Inspection Service
* Train to qualify and receive Airport Badge
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Must be flexible to work weekends - must be flexible to work beyond regular scheduled hours
* Male applicants must be registered on the Selective Service System (https://www.sss.gov/Home/registration) and provide the number
* Ability to read, write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
* Ability to work in inclement weather
