Full Job Description Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Description:
Our rapidly growing distillery, liquid development, and bottling company is looking for a skilled accounts receivable administrator to be responsible for reviewing and entering accounts receivable in an accurate and timely manner, maintaining, and analyzing supporting schedules, and preparing periodic internal and external reports. Administrator will also be responsible for maintaining contracts, working with plant production teams, and tracking KPI’s.
Responsibilities include:
• Creating and sending invoices to customers.
• Process customer payments.
• Working with customer service to research and resolve discrepancies.
• Run credit checks on new customers.
• Set up new customer accounts.
• Maintain customer deposits and unearned revenue schedules.
• Calculate commissions and royalties due.
• Preparing and providing analysis on weekly AR aging reports.
• Reconcile and analyzing AR and revenue monthly.
• Working with customers to collect past due AR.
• Properly bill, track, and accrue for FET.
• Release orders and work with production and logistics teams.
• Monitor and review contract pricing in ERP system for accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse agreements.
• Assist with Visitor Center accounting.
• Assist with annual financial audit.
• Assist with annual budgeting preparation.
• Other ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• 2+ years experience in accounts receivable
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable managing information from multiple locations
• Familiarity with using ERP systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational ability
• Effective corporate communications skills
• Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
