Position Overview
All employees are currently working remote, however, this position will report into our Plano, Texas location when the company returns to office. We are looking for a fintech Product Manager to help us build out the next generation of our B2B2C ‘Buy now pay later’ platform. Sitting at the intersection of finance and technology, the person in this role will work cross-functionally to generate insights, evaluate ideas, prioritize outcomes and deliver key features on the platform. The person in this role will be specifically responsible for all optimization initiatives that improve the conversion performance of the platform. They will manage a pipeline of experiments to be conducted, execute the experiments, and follow through by using the learnings to propose and deliver new features to the platform.
The ideal candidate will approach this position with excitement, bringing value to our customers, retailers and partners. The Product Manager will ideate and define new features and capabilities that can move desired key results. This individual will drive an experimental process to test and validate hypotheses behind new features and capabilities using an experimentation platform while working with the technical team and key stakeholders to plan the go-to-market roadmap of new features and initiatives.
We are looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about solving problems and is a creative thinker with a data driven, analytical and detailed-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who likes making great decisions that influence strategy and drives outcomes.
Primary Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Prioritizing and planning features based on objectives and key results
• Distilling very technical concepts to business users and translating from business requirements to technical solutions
• Monitoring and analyzing data to generate insights and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with the technology team as a product owner to clarify requirements and resolve roadblocks for items in the current sprint
• Participate in all scrum activities including sprint planning, backlog grooming and reviews
• Work with internal departments like Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Risk and Operations to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must have 4-7 years of demonstrated history of success in product management roles at high-tech companies.
• Experience with onboarding and/or acquisition funnels and flows.
• Experience and knowledge of customer data and analytics platforms.
• Experience and knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation platforms.
• Experience in Agile product lifecycle and scrum - including prioritization, defining requirements, writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and regular planning/grooming with engineering team
• Experienced with Saas products/platforms
• Experience in Fintech ( payments, lending, banking) or e-commerce.
• An understanding of user experience and usability best practices
