Overview:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing managerial support in alignment with Reliant Rehabilitation’s culture, policy/procedures, and best practices in the functional areas of HR. The Human Resources Manager is also responsible for maintaining, identifying and researching functionality within the company’s HRIS applications, as well as, participating in system related projects and initiatives within HR. The Human Resources Manager will provide support for the HRIS including, but not limited to: researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic HR consultation, analysis and perspective on organizational matters to ensure people alignment with business needs and objectives
• Partner with managers in the business to anticipate and provide support to respective functional areas within HR
• Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the department. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and internal process flows.
• Oversees day-to-day maintenance of the HRIS system as required, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Provides reporting on HR metrics and develops policy and program recommendations based on HR analytics
• Provide operational HR consultation and support to management
• Builds collaborative relationships, within the department and amongst others across the company, leading through change management
• Continually assess business needs and identify areas where process improvements will ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded by enhancing system capability and performance
• Analyzes, reviews and updates current business processes with pest practices using HRIS software
• Manages and maintains assigned HR systems, including security, optimization, upgrades, enhancement opportunities and projects related to system functionality and operability, interfaces and related processes
• Assists team with escalations from management and employees in the field
• Monitors shared email inbox to ensure timely response, customer service focused responses and identify areas for improvement
• Partners with Recruiting and Operations with facilitating assignments and follow through with new business startups
• Primary point of contact with various vendors to oversee day-to-day functionality and operation
• Ability to design, execute and organize multiple projects at any given time
• Participates in administrative staff meeting and attends all other meetings as needed.
• Takes a lead within the department to challenge effectiveness and efficiencies by applying a continuous improvement mindset to drive process and procedure improvements
• Responsible for the performance management and hiring of employees within the assigned team, to include but not limited to, interviewing, hiring, performance management, day-to-day responsibilities, progressive discipline, etc.
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws
• Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience, with progressive HR experience preferred
• Excellent PC experience including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio) and basic internet
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
• Employ effective time management skills as well as work independently and in a team environment
• Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Project management skills; ability to prioritizes and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
Supervisor Responsibility
This position manages all employees within appointed supervision within the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that team
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment with the standard level of noise. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. At times, there may be high stress based on workload and business needs. The position’s primary office is the Corporate Office in Plano, TX; however, telework or work at home, on the road, or in a satellite location for portions of the workweek may occur, depending upon project needs and requirements in coordination with your direct supervisor.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree Required
