Full Job Description Action Pest Control is growing and seeking an independent, well organized Customer Service Representative at our Owensboro, Ky location. If you like working independently, with only general supervision, in a fast-paced team environment, Action Pest Control is the perfect place for you. The Customer Service Representative works closely with the branch manager and associates at the designated branch location and as part of a team. The candidate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support for the designated branch location. In addition to providing excellent customer service and administrative support, the Customer Service Representative will also answer and respond to all inbound and outbound customer inquiries, as well as quality assurance calls and emails.
Essential functions of the job :
• Be able to answer the customer’s questions on the initial call.
• Acts as the liaison between the customer and the Technicians, Outside Sales Representative(s), and Managers.
• Responds to all inquiries from potential and current customers regarding service offerings, including but not limited to cancellation calls, routing, service, and billing issues.
• Will be able to perform outbound calls regarding customer satisfaction, collecting receivables or other outbound calls as deemed necessary by management.
• Responsible for accurate data entry (i.e. production invoices, new sales, account edits, etc.) and maintaining the quality of the customer management data base. Additional data entry items would also include service programs, service issues, payments, and cancellation information.
• Responsible for other general administrative tasks or to provide administrative support to the branch, market, and/or region, including other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager.
• Minimum skills for the Customer Service Representative position:
• High School Diploma (or GED).
• Ability to work between 8 AM – 5 PM, with some overtime and Saturdays, as required.
• One or more years of direct customer service experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Professional phone etiquette
• Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy
• Ability to work in a team, results-oriented, environment
