Position Summary
Tampa, FL
Provides clerical and administrative support to Logistics Department. Maintain and update records. Work directly with Logistics, Sales Service, Purchasing and Commercial teams to provide service internally and externally to customers.
Responsibilities & Roles
• Support Senior Logistics Analyst
• Indirectly support Senior Buyer in dunnage return process
• Monitor and follow up with Sales Service, Logistics, and carriers on status of deliveries
• Work with Carriers and Sales Service to ensure all delayed events are being tracked and entered for late deliveries
• Process and distribute Logistic department reports including weekly/monthly on time delivery reports, lane rate reports, lane by volume reports, etc.
• Work with Carriers on obtaining freight rates requested by the Commercial, Sales Service or Purchasing team.
• Enter new freight lanes, freight rates (accessorial charges and demurrage) and update existing as approved by leadership.
• Process and handle all Anchor Logistic claims and provide to Accounting and Carriers.
• Receive assessorial invoices from Carriers and ensure they are accurate and have all required information. Enter approved invoices into freight system for payment.
• Maintain Anchor Glass current Carrier and Warehouse list including capability and contact information by location
• Set up new warehouses -Lotus Notes Database updates and AS400 entries
• Enter customer dunnage returns, manage internal dunnage movements between plants and warehouses, track and follow up carriers and customers outstanding deliveries
• Communicate professionally with external and internal customers, peers, and various levels of management.
Employee Qualifications
• High School diploma and minimum 3 years customer service-related experience.
• Proficient in MicroSoft Office products.
• JD Edwards / Oracle E1 / Oracle Transportation Management OTM experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization skills and detailed oriented.
