Basic Functions Prepare Courtroom and jury room for proceedings, monitor jury gallery and spectators to maintain proper decorum, assist witnesses to and from stand, monitor jury access during deliberations, directs jury as delegated by the Court and answers questions from the public, lawyers, jurors and other court participants.
Duties and Responsibilities Care and custody of the jury.  Monitors courtroom decorum. Monitor and control jury access during deliberations.  Prepares courtroom and jury room for proceedings.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.  One year experience preferred. General customer service experience and working knowledge of, or experience with, criminal justice system.  Ability to understand and carry out instructions related to courtroom procedure.  Mental acuity.
Compensation Position is currently in Grade 5 with an entry hourly wage range of $12.91 - $14.36, DOQ.
