MULTI-FAMILY AREA FOREMAN
This position is responsible for:
Organizing, supervising and directing the electrical work of the assigned job crew, as well as ensuring company objectives of cost, quality, and equipment conservation are met.
The Area Foreman will monitor and document the progress of the assigned work area, up to and including the quality and quantity of work performed by the job crew. They will serve as the liaison between the job superintendent and the workforce.

Job Requirements
What you’ll do:
• Plan, organize, and direct the work of job crew employees daily.
• Maintain familiarity with plans, specifications, and job folder contract scope.
• Attend coordination meetings as required and provide the necessary information.
• Receive and review weekly job assignments.
• Prepare sketches that might assist with installations.
• Complete a detailed list of all required materials, tools, and manpower for job assignments.
• Assist in the monitoring and documentation of the progress of the job using appropriate forms and procedures as directed by the superintendent.
• Provide workforce with current and accurate information as generated by the Superintendent, including RFI’s, memorandums, and any other forms of communication devices.
• Communicate company policies and procedures to the job crew.
• Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Codes as needed.
• Order daily materials as needed for your work area and follow up on backorders as necessary through the Superintendent.
• Monitor and manage tool control for jobsite.
• Monitor and track employee work time as necessary.

What you’ll need to be successful:
• Minimum of three (3) years experience as an Active Florida Journeyman Electrician.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Codes with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must possess the skills to communicate job requirements and safety standards to the crew and must have the ability to motivate the job crew.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in the English language at a minimum eighth (8 th ) grade level.
• Must be proficient in the use of all hand tools typically used for commercial electrical work, systems, and troubleshooting and in the use of operating procedures for large pipe bending equipment, wire pulling machines, and earth-moving equipment such as backhoes.
