Responsibilities
Under general supervision: Answer phone lines for IT support and creates user issue tickets. Operates various computer equipment, including PC workstations, servers, and various printers. Primary responsibilities are to provide technical support to Grow Financial Federal Credit Union employees in the areas of desktop operating systems including Windows 10 and various Microsoft Office applications. Mac OSX experience and JAMF experience a big plus. Supporting access to the core Symitar System. Performs hardware troubleshooting on end user equipment either in person or via remote connection. This position requires rotating weekends when on call.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years’ experience with PC operations with at least one year in a Help Desk environment.
• Extensive working knowledge of Windows 10, solid understanding of Mac OSX troubleshooting a plus, as well as registry editing and Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting techniques required.
• Experience with Outlook, Windows Active Directory, and TCP/IP networks necessary.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to sit, type and/or view computer monitor for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
• Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
• Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Traditional office setting.
• Sedentary role.
• Hours include rotating weekends and on call time.
• Travel to stores as needed.
