The Accountant is responsible for the entry, analysis and maintenance of the general ledger with particular focus on accounts payable and disbursements, cash management support, monthly and year end close support, and participation in the implementation of sound internal and compliance controls. This role will represent and uphold the One Nesco mission by creating exceptional client, candidate, and employee experiences; contributing to each other's success; and building our communities. Reports to the Accounting Manager.
Essential Duties
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Post General Ledger entries
• Maintain 3 rd party labor tracking
• Reconcile monthly bank statements
• Track and Accrue 3 rd Party supplier activity for Hubbell
• Post and process vender invoices through payment
• Provide AR data for weekly bank submission
Qualifications
• BA Degree or Higher in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years or more experience in an accounting position
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability communicate with people in the branches as well as within the service center
• Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Able to operate various pieces of office equipment including but not limited to computer, keyboard, mouse, calculator, copier and phones as required by position
• Must have excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills
• Must be able to operate well in a team environment
• Must be able to sit at a desk or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, able to handle multiple problems simultaneously
