SUMMARY
7+ years of overall technical experience and 5 years recent hands-on software development experience building scalable web and client applications. Work with product owners and colleagues to interpret feature request and develop software in iterative design/build/test cycles using an agile development process.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience that you will need to be successful in this role:
• Experience designing and developing applications and components using J2EE technologies, SOA architecture, Application servers
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) deployments with ability to design applications.
• Experience with distributed computing and object-oriented design and analysis
• Strong relational database skills using PostgreSQL / Oracle
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Messaging/Integration Patterns
• Experience in developing XML / JSON based web-services
• Experience in Java technologies: JMS, MDB, JPA (Hibernate)
• JBOSS / Wildfly
• Experience with high-volume, real-time applications
• Familiarity with Agile (e.g., Scrum Process)
• Apache Camel and Apache ActiveMQ
• Java 1.8, Subversion/GIT, Open source components
• Experience with Test Driven Development
