DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform administrative work providing a variety of staff support services for Ajax personnel.
2. Greet visitors and answer incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. In doing this, the receptionist/administrative assistant is required to ascertain information from the
visitors/caller and convey this to the appropriate person/department within the Company.
3. Setup and maintain job files, make copies and the distribution of misc. information.
4. Assist in obtaining NTO info on all private jobs and general assistance in the collection process.
5. Maintain an inventory of all office supplies, order when needed and maintain orderly supply cabinet.
6. Handle all shipping and mail.
7. Assist Human Resources/EEO/Area 3 - file, copy, prepare packets, etc.
8. Enter Payroll for Area 3 field personnel.
9. Contacts and works with subcontractors on insurance requirements and lien releases.
A. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical demands of the position include: Sitting, standing, climbing (high heights), low level work, reaching, bending, trunk movements, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing and talking.
B. TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS
Requires knowledge of general mathematics, reading and writing.
C. SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL
Insure adherence to all federal, state, local and Ajax’s Safety and Environmental Rules and Regulations.
