MULTI-FAMILY ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT
This position is responsible for:
Organizing and controlling the preparation and execution of the project(s), not complex in nature, to ensure company objectives of cost, quality, and equipment conservation are met. Monitor and document the progress of the assigned job up to and including the quality and quantity of work performed by the job crew. This position is also responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget and the Superintendent will have profit and loss responsibilities, as well as responsibilities for job safety standards. This position will serve as a liaison between the job and General Contractor. This position is responsible for organizing, supervising, and directing electrical work of the assigned job crew.

• Meets budgets regularly
• Maximizes profits
• Takes necessary actions to maintain targets
• Maintain familiarity with plans, specifications, and job folder contract scope
• Attend coordination meetings as required and provide necessary information
• Plan, organize, and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work
• Review all electrical drawings with Leadmen performing on assigned jobs to them
• Utilizes quantitative reporting/weekly labor variance reports and measures performance weekly
• Effectively uses Short Interval Planner to plan ahead for materials, equipment, and manpower
• Develops, monitors, and reports on completion of craft/subcontractor punch list activities
• Maintain daily reports, time sheets, safety, and accident reports
• Monitors discipline construction productivity, progress, and cost, and reports to Supervisor

Job Requirements:
What you’ll need to be successful:
• Skilled electrician with at least five (5) years of experience managing crews and running multi-million dollar construction projects
• Knowledge of basic mathematical operations and calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, order of operations) to calculate labor, materials, and/or cost estimates for projects and work orders, etc
• Expert working knowledge of National Electrical Codes
• Must have experience with material and labor costs
• Must have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a strong safety background
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
• Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in the English language at a twelfth (12th) grade level
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license in good standing to meet the company's driving requirements
• High school or equivalent
