Job Summary
• Performs office and field work with limited supervision.
• May design field investigation programs for specific projects.
• Oversee the Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) for the Southeast Business Unit and can be based out of any office in Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assists in all aspects of field work which may include:
• Field sampling (soils, water, air, and solid waste)
• Construction inspection
• Construction quality assurance
• Gas or remedial system maintenance and monitoring
• Field work documentation
• Waste characterization studies
• Preparation of field test reports and report writing as requested
• Assists, and in some cases takes the lead, in training engineering technicians, associate staff, and staff professionals in field activities
• Assists in office operations when requested.
• Overtime and travel required.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in engineering field work preferred.
• AA in engineering (mechanical or construction) degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.
• Geosynthetics and soils knowledge preferred.
