The Human Resource Administrator performs administrative HR tasks related to contractor/employee onboarding, benefit plan enrollment, and employee changes. Position reports to Human Resources Director and is an hourly non-exempt role. Position acts as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. This position will work from our Tampa office and is temporarily remote.
HR facilitates essential functions for our company’s internal customers, our amazing workforce. The ideal candidate for this role will have a demonstrated work history administering HR processes and should be uniquely skilled in handling multiple tasks with varied priorities.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Facilitate the onboarding/separation of employees and contractors nationwide.
• Submit and track background checks and review employee eligibility documents.
• Host new hire orientation.
• Provide general office support functions.
• Handle employment/payroll-related inquiries from applicants, employees, management, and third parties.
• Facilitate employee benefit program enrollment and compose reports on health/life/disability/COBRA plans.
• Record and request documentation, track, report employee status, and engage with plan administrators in relation to company medical leave, disability plans, and worker’s compensation.
• Assist with payroll functions related to compensation changes/adjustments, composing reports, and unemployment claims.
• Adhere to and contribute to HR SOPs, following established guidance to ensure company-wide compliance.

• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's ADP Workforce HRIS.
Education and Experience
• Associate degree required in related field of study.
• At least two years of human resources experience, employee onboarding, and/or payroll.
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
• Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
• Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
• Ability to speak to and hear employees/clients via phone or in person.
• Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move around an office environment.
• Ability to analyze unique situations and develop appropriate response.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex human resource related documents.
