This position is responsible for overseeing the safe, productive, and efficient operation of all activities. This involves supervising shift personnel and ensuring that all Krispy Kreme policies are strictly followed. Additionally, this position is accountable for monitoring the proper running order of all equipment and performing maintenance and repairs as necessary. Other responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
· Supervising all shift personnel to ensure they perform in accordance with the
guidelines of Krispy Kreme’s policies for efficient operation
· Overseeing all areas of the plant and ensuring equipment is in optimal condition; this
involves conducting preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary
· Maintaining production records and coordinating with Distribution Services receipts
· Maintaining inventory control records
· Ensuring that all bins are prepared to manage continuous batch processing
· Maintaining computerized systems for bar coding and batch processing
· Ensuring quality control guidelines are followed
· Loading and unloading rail cars and trucks as needed
· Directing safety training meetings
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
· Two year degree in food manufacturing or equivalent experience
· Three to five years experience in supervisory role in a food handling plant/warehouse
Environment, or equivalent.
· Two years experience with computer applications
· Mechanical ability to maintain and make general repairs to plant equipment
· Forklift operation experience and certification
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
· Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
· Experience with bar coding inventory system is preferred
