This position will provide F5 Application Security Web Application firewall and Networking support for the United Sates Marine Corps (USMC).
Responsibilities/Experience:
• Experience in implementing, configuring, and updating web application firewall services to support the protection of web applications through the Application Security Module (ASM) and Advanced Web Application Firewall (AWAF) module on F5 BIG-IP platforms.
• Experience onboarding new applications behind a F5 AWAF and able to work with application developers through the onboarding process to ensure the behavioral analytics is capturing the right data and protecting against malicious activity.
• Able to create and read Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), Secure Socket Layer (SSL)/ Transport Layer Security (TLS), Domain Name System (DNS), and Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) packet captures in order to successfully troubleshoot traffic and data traffic flow.
• Minimum of 5 years engineering experience on networks with multiple geographically separated locations, providing access to both internally and externally hosted systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with F5 AWAF.
Education/Certifications/Clearance:
• Security + or DoD 8570.01m for IAT Level II
• Requires a minimum of a Secret Clearance.
• Minimum of Secret Clearance.
• 5 ASM certified is a plus, and must be willing to obtain a certification is one is required.
• F5 AWAF certified is a plus, and must be willing to obtain a certification is one is required.
