This position will provide Big IP experience for Web Application Firewall and Networking support for the United Sates Marine Corps (USMC).
Responsibilities/Experience:
• Experience in providing cybersecurity oversight of network boundary devices and web applications housed within or behind those devices. This experience should include on-premises and cloud architectures.
• Experience securing existing web applications and supervising the secure deployment of new web applications. This should include the creation of secure deployment models, compliance management, and the validation of implemented security controls.
• Experience with common protocols associated with web applications such as Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS), Secure Socket Layer (SSL)/ Transport Layer Security (TLS), Domain Name System (DNS), and Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) in order to ensure the secure implementation of those protocols.
• Ability to analyze network and application logs such as such as firewall logs, access logs, and network traffic logs to identify security trends and anomalies.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with securing multiple web applications.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with BIG-IP or similar technologies.
Education/Certifications/Clearance:
• Security + or DoD 8570.01m for IAT Level II
• Requires a minimum of a Secret Clearance.
• Minimum of Secret Clearance.
• 5 ASM certified is a plus, and must be willing to obtain a certification is one is required.
• F5 AWAF certified is a plus, and must be willing to obtain a certification is one is required.
