Part-Time Job Details Description Who We Are The Compliance Team in Tampa, Florida is a practice within Milliman, Inc., one of the largest actuarial consulting firms in the world and a leading provider of life and health compliance consulting services in North America. Our office was established in 1998 specializing in supplemental health products but has grown to include compliance consultants offering a range of insurance compliance services. We work with a diverse set of clients including self-insured corporations, commercial insurance companies, governmental agencies and risk pools. Using a variety of Milliman products and office-built tools, we look to establish and develop the cutting edge of actuarial and compliance practices in each of our professional niches, and provide our clients with trusted partnership and advice to advance the success of their business. Our Team Team members work on a range of client projects of various sizes, and we employ a highly integrated project structure that encourages interaction across all members of the team from analysts to consultants to the Principals serving as the client leads. While most of our team’s time is spent working on projects developed within our local office, team members also have the chance to participate on certain assignments that are completed in partnership with other Milliman offices, and work with employees from other Milliman life and health practices. We believe that the actuarial and compliance skillsets have important applications across both our traditional work and our work in new and developing markets.  We are committed to developing a pipeline of new talent and future leaders of the firm through support and interaction with senior colleagues. Role Assist with the preparation of various contractual documents. Convert documents to PDF for filing submissions to regulators. Assemble and submit insurance product filings. Monitor correspondence from regulators. Maintain status records. Prepare status communications for clients. Other miscellaneous tasks as needed.  Qualifications Currently enrolled in a college or university. GPA 3.2+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including VBA, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access is helpful. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, prioritizing and meeting deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required Milliman offers a high-performance but relatively casual work environment in Tampa.
