We are looking for an Agile Coach (Program Manager) to join our team. At Fisher we embrace the ideas of change, adaptability, innovation and customer value. The Agile Coach (Program Manager) is someone who lives and breathes these concepts and finds some of their greatest satisfaction in helping others to embrace them as well. You will report to our Vice President - Infrastructure Demand Management.
The Opportunity:
Your focus is on our I&O (Infrastructure & Operations) group and your impact will be felt greatest by providing expertise and mentorship in multiple areas, including ITSM best practice and ongoing coaching to our teams and leadership on the Agile\Lean principles and frameworks that help us to be the best we can be. Through internal Agile partnerships and hands-on mentoring of our group, your deliberate and measured approach will allow us to create transparency to our continued improvement in both how we operate and our overall customer satisfaction.
When needed, you are ready to take on different roles in an Agile environment – you can jump in and lead complex programs and guide their journey from Waterfall to Agile and you are comfortable being Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or any of the scaled roles such as Scrum of Scrums Master or Chief Product Owner.
The Day-to-Day:
• Lead the training and launch of Scrum teams; coach teams in all roles, processes and metrics
• Lead Agile program teams in building the processes (e.g. Scrum, Kanban), scaled frameworks (e.g. Scrum@Scale, shared service integration) and principles that best suit the nature of their workflow and environment
• Take on program leadership role for complex Agile programs; lead the shift from waterfall to Agile mindset
• Be a Servant Leader as Scrum Master or Scrum of Scrums Master and promote a Servant Leadership mentality
• Work with the Program Group on Program and Portfolio concepts (e.g. "from Project to Product") and help design delivery methods with meaningful measures and progress tracking
• Create Fisher specific Agile and Scrum training for onboarding needs and workshops and lunch and learns
• Coach leadership in empowering their teams into an accountable and self-sustaining state of continuous improvement
• Assist teams and leadership in managing lean documentation according to varying needs
• Work with both localized and distributed team members
• Must be comfortable working with all layers of an Enterprise Organizational Chart
Your Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Coach
• Bachelor's degree in business or technology major or equivalent work experience
• Experience with IT Service Management disciplines such as ITIL and CMMI
• Deep experience with scaled Agile concepts
• Servant Leadership practitioner
• Advocate Agile, Scrum, Kanban and other collaborative working practices with expert knowledge
• Experience working with transitioning infrastructure and operations groups from traditional project management (i.e. waterfall) methodologies to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Conflict resolution experience working with multi-diverse teams
• Identify dysfunctions within the team and help resolve the same either by the team or by bringing it to the notification of leadership at the right time
• Experience developing custom internal training materials
• One or more industry certifications such as ICP, PSM, CST, SPC, PMI-ACP (or equal experience)
