Full Job Description We are a busy small animal practice located in Riverview, FL. We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, hard working individuals to fill available full time positions.
Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required. Pay rate based on experience
We are currently hiring a full time receptionist and a full time technician/assistant
who is self-motivated, outgoing, and a team-player for our progressive practice featuring digital radiology, acupuncture/aquapuncture and integrative medicine. We emphasize making the experience for the client and patient a remarkable one as we share our passion for making a difference in their family's life through the care of their pets.
Skills and responsibilities for receptionist include, but are not limited to:
- Attention to detail
-Ability to multitask in a high volume, high energy atmosphere
-Exceptional client service & client education
-Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
-Ability to problem solve minor issues
-Keeping of proper medical records
-Handling money, processing credit card sales and maintaining records
-Knowledge in Cornerstone practice management software a plus
Skills and responsibilities for technician/assistant include, but are not limited to:
- Attention to detail
-Multi-tasking, self motivated, fast learning, efficient worker
-Professional attitude
-Exceptional client service & client education
-Strong skills in restraint, veinipuncutre, basic laboratory skills
-In-Patient medical care: admistration and preparation of medications, assit or perform treatments, diagnostics, & monitoring, place IV catheters
-Radiology
-Opportunity for Surgical rotation: surgical prep, doctor assitance, anesthesia induction, maintenance, & monitoring, recovery of patients, clean/maintain surgical and anesthesia equipment
-Dentistry and Surgical Experience
-Knowledge of Cornerstone is a PLUS
