Food Assembly Team Member Mission
An Assembly Team Member is responsible for plating food items in accordance to our standard plating guides. This is a critical role in making sure every customer finds our products appealing and consistent, thus deciding to purchase.
All our meals are fresh non-frozen meals, which requires assembly in a refrigerated room (36*F).
The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. The job environment is stable, based on known relationships with people and well-defined processes. Job knowledge and competency is built through structured step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from management and peers.
Responsibilities
• Ensures all ingredients are put onto plate with proper placement per plating guide
• Communicates any variance in number of plates needed to number produced to manager
• Portion food items according to predefined instructions and ensure that garnishing activities are properly carried out
• Ability to work with a controlled sense of urgency to achieve 85% efficiency within 2-weeks
• Ensures all safety and sanitation practices are upheld with a no compromise standard
• Adopts & maintains “Perfection of Plate” mentality through all levels and areas
• Must be able to be trained on proper use of scales and portion scoops
• Any special task at management request
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Handle food rotation activities, placing special focus on ensuring that food items are not wasted

Requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
• S. citizen or right to work in U.S.
• Ability to pass a background check

• Must maintain personal hygiene in accordance with Fitlife standards
• Physical Requirements: Standing up to 10 hours, lifting up to 35 lbs., work in cold environment, reaching, pulling, repetitive use of hands
Minimum Base Pay
$11 per hour
Hours of Work
Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. (8-10 hours shift). All schedules include working weekends.
We offer 2 paid breaks and 1 lunch break.
Work Environment
Temperatures could range from 36 degrees to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Boots and jackets are provided at no charge, because of working under refrigeration.
