Position Summary
The Recruiting Coordinator will work directly with Talent Acquisition and HR team members to provide recruitment administrative support in addition to sourcing, attracting, and hiring new employees for our company.
The Recruitment Coordinator is involved in all aspects of the hiring process, from collaborating on initial job descriptions through the full life-cycle recruitment process including background checks, certification checks, uploading new hire information, updating reports and onboarding.
The Recruitment Coordinator should be well-versed in the talent acquisition full life-cycle process, have experience supporting a recruiting team and have working knowledge of relevant employment legislation. The successful candidate should be organized and have excellent communication and people skills.
Responsibilities
• Opening requisitions in the ATS.
• Maintaining candidates in the ATS.
• Posting positions on all applicable social media and career websites.
• Assists the recruitment team with sourcing, initial customized screening and contact of applicants to determine qualification and interest level.
• Refers appropriate candidates to recruiter and/or hiring supervisor.
• Provides support coordination of recruitment projects and related services to the recruitment team members, supervisors, hiring managers, and others.
• Participates in the design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects and programs.
• Attends and participates in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events.
• Represents and promotes organization to potential applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data.
• Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, HR compliance, compensation, benefits, pay administration, and other related organizational policies, practices, procedures, and/or regulations.
• Serves as point of contact to hiring authorities and departments seeking Talent Acquisition services.
• Serves as resource for recruitment policies, procedures, and practices to supervisors, HR staff, and others. Refers to recruiters and other staff as appropriate.
• Handles and prioritizes multiple ranges of advanced administrative duties with wide latitude for independent judgment and initiative.
• Learns position specific required certifications and licensure, runs verification process, and prints out RN licenses, checks for validity and updates the system as needed.
• Runs background checks in accordance with HR policy and procedure, follows-up and dispositions results, alerts, etc.
• Responsible for JIRA new hire tickets and communicating new hire information to the appropriate departments.
• Conducts reference checks.
• Assists with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve process.
• Maintains the integrity of the Applicant Tracking system, ensuring that Requisitions are up to date with appropriate statuses and dispositions (including closing out requisitions that are filled on hold or cancelled).
• Responsible for updating TA related metrics, database, and other TA related reports as assigned by Supervisor.
• Assists in providing information to new hires and assists with onboarding as needed.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree - preferred
• Experience requirements – 2 years as a Recruiting Coordinator with at least 1 year of Healthcare experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a high-volume recruitment capacity, conducting most facets of the recruitment process
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking system is required (Paycom experience preferred)
• Working knowledge of federal employment laws required and healthcare related employment compliance preferred
• Per HealthMap’s HR Security Policy, this position is considered LN (low risk for PHI and may not require additional training/screening)
Skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Full cycle recruitment to include; posting, sourcing, screening, social media, ATS, reports, references, dispositioning and onboarding is required
• Well organized, detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Excellent team player who achieves maximum efficiency and productivity
• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and targets
