Full Job Description Locate Technician Description:
Sunbelt Telecommunication services, inc. are looking for cable locators to use mechanical/technical equipment to accurately locate underground fiber optic telephone lines
Familiarity with “One Call” is a plus.
Job Requirements:
Must be able to walk over all types of terrain (grass, gravel, ditches, concrete, etc.)
Must be able to walk in all types of construction zones and residential, commercial, industrial, and rural areas in all types of weather conditions
Must be able to remove and replace manhole lids.
Must be able to list up to 75 pounds periodically to properly locate buried lines
Must have a valid motor vehicle license with an acceptable driving record
Must be able to work Monday-Friday and occasional on-call may require weekend or holiday work
Must have cellular phone
Must have a laptop computer with a wireless card
Must have safety equipment: Hard Hat, Safety Vest and Steel Toe Shoes

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
