The Pastry/Cake Decorator will be responsible for the daily operation for Nutrition Solutions pertaining to the preparation, cooking, plating, and storage of the product. Our pastry team responsible for overseeing that food is prepared accurately and efficiently. Additional duties include cook/prepare proteins in our pastry products. In addition to the daily upkeep of kitchen area and contributing to the organization and cleanliness of the facility.

Key responsibilities & duties
Reports directly to reports to Sr Sous Chef and Executive Chef
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Products made from scratch daily, no mixes are used
· Able to follow directions and execute recipes with a sense of urgency
· Ensure all staff members adhere to culinary standards and regulations
· Track, order, record and replenish inventory as needed
· Willing to learn new techniques and contribute to creative projects
· Background in Nutrition
· Complies consistently with our prep methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policy and procedures
· Meets all necessary deadlines both daily and weekly to ensure the timely delivery of a product
· Overseas all Open/Close procedures for the kitchen correctly and follows a checklist for all kitchen stations. Complete daily checklist for kitchen cleanliness
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· 3+ years’ culinary/baking experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
· Knowledge of best practices for training kitchen staff and implementing kitchen procedures
· High level of creativity and reliability
· Familiarity with menu costing procedures
Experience:
· relevant: 3 years (Preferred)
· management: 3 years (Preferred)
· Assistant Pastry Chef: 3 years (Preferred)
License:
· ServSafe (Preferred)
